When chemicals from challenging applications get inside the sensor reference, chemical reactions can create insoluble salts. These salts clog the reference junction and interrupt the electrical circuit, leading to drifting measurements. When an ORP sensor is constantly measuring a wastewater treatment process, it will be exposed to chemicals, suspended solids, and other contaminants. Our TDS / Conductivity Calibration Standards are prepared to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) primary solutions standards. Both Mixed Salts and Single Salt solutions are available. A NIST certificate is also available for a nominal charge. Solutions are supplied in quart bottles (946 ml) and are ready for immediate use. Our DO1200 galvanic dissolved oxygen sensors measure the oxygen content of water using an electrochemical measurement principle.
